Food I have a confession to make.

Gin is now my second favorite after bourbon
I wanted to make a negroni one day, when things were at their worst, but I didn’t have any gin. So I bought a 40 of Bombay Sapphire, drank all the gin that evening, and never actually made a negroni.

I found a recipe for an alcohol-free negroni, and I have them from time to time. They don’t quite taste the same but they are pretty decent.

I've been pleasantly surprised to see how many breweries now offer alcohol free beer.

Does it use the fake gin? Otherwise not sure wqhere you'd get the juniper from.

Now I'm curious, what was the most you drank in one day?

That's pretty cool that alcohol free drinks aren't triggering!

Well I think around a 40 is probably the most, maybe a bit more. It’s hard to say because I was blacked out a bunch.

I don’t do NA beer, but there are a lot of non-alcohol sprits these days. I usually just drink sparkling water with a bit of juice but I have a decent mocktail recipe book I picked up that has some interesting drinks

Not sure what a 40 is? Is that like a 750ml?

Yeah, we have a soda stream which is great for ad-hoc mocktails. Although we use bitters a lot of time, so we're actually terrible at mocktails.

Scotch, I quit drinking scotch.

I now drink gin.
I've gotten some gin recently.

James May's mustard gin

Nikle gin, whose secondary flavor is lavender

40oz beer

Are y'inz telling me you never played Edward Fortyhands? I never did either, because I'm dumb not stupid, but I've seen it done.

Can't use your hands until they're both finished.

The next size up from the 750 ml bottles up here is a 1.14L bottle, which we commonly call a 40. Then we have 1.75L bottle, which we call a 60.
