Ontopic Health Thread: post your AIDS, diseases and infekshunz here.

I’m going to shock you all and tell you I didn’t get a single Covid vaccine and I’ve never had a flu shot.

OMG I’m probably gonna die tomorrow!!!

I’ve also only had Covid once, Dec 2020.

I’ve had the flu once that I remember as well, Feb 2020.
Way to pass on diseases to the sick, rub it in that you're healthy, why don't ya.

Wait till your my age and get the flu. That will probably change your mind and you'll start getting the flu vaccine.

Ok. I mean I don’t get them so I don’t see how I’m passing them in but I know you’ll come in with some I’m spreading diseases I don’t know I have or something.

We do get vaccinations against measles, pox, hepatitis, polio, whatever the standard vaccines are. Just not seasonal ones.

I wonder if I get frequent flyer points.

If you're wondering my leg locked up and swelled up while I was driving and I couldn't get out of car. So had to call EMS and 6 dudes drag me out of car. ER said I have huge infection on my leg. Still can't really move it. Complications from the liver stuff makes it worse. In ICU.
That sucks. You doing clean, good living now dude?

Nah,wasn't a jab. Home school kids don't bring home diseases
I wish. My six year old gets a cold every 4-6 weeks. Luckily the rest of us don’t catch all of them so we’re just patiently waiting until her immune system catches up to the rest of us.

But I get you. Kindergartners are the worst and constantly sick.

I can't believe the 21st century accepted treatment for plantar warts is still "chemical burn everything around it and hope it kills the thing".

I thought it was a corn, so I shaved it down with a box cutter blade, but then I hit a vascularized portion and realized it wasn't.

It's the first time I've ever had a wart, think I got it from going barefoot in the locker room at the gym.

I've gone my whole life without wearing shower shoes, but now that I'm old and decrepit, I need to burn part of the sole of my foot off.

Just because you are not symptomatic and have an excellent constitution does not mean that you are not a carrier of a virus if you have been exposed. Not all of us are so lucky. That being said, the vaccine will not keep you from being a carrier. If you are exposed to a virus, stay home.

I had one for like 5 years once. Tried everything. It would come back months later. You'll get it soft easy but annoying. Mine my brother eventually cut off with shears.

You probably already know, but I am in the same boat.

Last time I had the flu was the one flu shot I stupidly took, 2006.

Of course, I am constantly pickled.
