I haven't watch the news in so long I don't even know what "they" want me to get enraged aboot anymore.

One good thing about Texas is you just register to vote, that's it. You don't claim allegiance to any party.
You can go vote in any party's primary you want to, but just one.
You can't, say, go vote for someone you think might be a good candidate in one party's primary then go vote for someone you think might be a poor competitor in another party's primary.
Just one primary but you can pick which one.

As a kid in Minnesota you'd end up with a Canadian nickel or something in your pocket change now and then. The lady up at the store would still take them for a pack of candy cigarettes.
Try doing that with pesos here.

I once i̶n̶v̶a̶d̶e̶d̶ undocumentedly immigrated to Canada in a canoe.
That stuff about them being all nice and polite is bullshit, at least when it comes to the mounties.

They even tried to interrogate my fish to find out which side of the lake I caught them on.

The fish were having none of it.
 
Going to canadastan used to be such a not big deal in upstate NY. Not sure about now but in the 90s you could basically wander over the border and the only thing that changed was the road signs.
