My guy, no. The man is not bright. And I'm not talking about just firing the guy, but all of it.
Let's lay this out
- Last time he was in the nuts and bolts of any machine's code on a regular basis was Zip2, and he may not have even been doing it then. Thats 30 years back. He is woefully uneducated to be talking about this as a subject expert.
- Since he isn't a subject expert, he needs to call on one to help him write the tweet. Slack, an email, something would have done this. Obviously he didn't.
- He posted his ignorance (again) on a public space allowing anyone to respond, and they did.
- And this is the biggest one. He fired the guy. This is a slam dunk for a wrongful termination suit.
If any other CEO did one of the above, they would be laughed at and forgotten Three or more and they'd be called an idiot and immortalized in meme history.
#4 alone is enough to say the man is an idiot.
