Pics Poost ye dagz.

Well she had so much pork she had the shits last night, so I'm not running on much sleep.

Totally worth it. Gonna hold off but bring a big bag of pork to the vet.

Making a nest in a hound's yard seems unwise, rabbit.

Scout grabbed this lil dude from the weeds but let them go when they squeaked. I'd seen momma there before, and once since.

The little doggo took spill off the back of the sofa last night and hit the floor pretty hard (hardwood floors)
Thought I was gonna have to take her to the ER for broken legs or something but she got up and seemed a-ok. 20 minutes later she was out back chasing bugs like normal.
She was moving pretty slow this morning when we got up so she may be feeling it now. Im back home at lunch time so well see how shes doing.

thats no good man. Might be worth getting her checked anyway. I dunno if dogs are like cats, but cats will hide their injuries

Give it some time, Scout has taken falls and not shown any real issue until the next day. Take it easy for a bit and then she'll probably be fine.

Yeah I think well be going to the vet later
Shes up and walking, but really slow, and wont jump up on anything.
Doesnt wimper or whine when I mover her legs or press on her belly/back, and no swelling or discolorations that I can see.
Maybe shes just sore from the fall, but Ill have vet look at her to be sure.
But cant get an appointment at the regular vet for over a week, so its to the animal ER, which doesnt open until 6pm

Think well skip the ER visit and just make an appt with the regular doc
Shes much improved from when I first got home, shes up now and out back chasing lizards around , just a bit more slowly than usual.
Other than moving slow, critter seems normal otherwise

Regular vet doesn't have 'emergency fit you in' appointments? Ours charges like an extra $20 for them or some shit, but WAAAAY cheaper than the ER.

Our dog was acting funny a few days ago. Would get up and slowly put weight on one foot. Next morning was all better. Figure she landed on a rock wrong or something chasing lizards.

It is possibly irrational, but I'm convinced that a fall like that did Luna in.
She fell off the ottoman we had for her to help her jump high enough to get onto the bed (night and she couldn't see it) and couldn't walk for half a day. Couple months later the vet was telling us that she had a tumor that was hemorrhaging.

:(

I had a couple dogs who thought they were still puppies when they were 14ish. They'd try to chase stuff and run around and we had to eventually keep them on a leash so they wouldn't hurt themselves outside. (One ran into a tree and messed his ear up really bad)
