I don't agree. If you're able to get to the school, through the school traffic, and get the dropoff done in 5 minutes, then the school can't be more than about 1/4 mile away.

Schools (especially primary/elementary) are often located in residential areas, so the traffic to get in and out are not trivial.

You guys and your car brains are weird. All this contortion to get around saying "I can't figure out how to walk farther than 5 yards without a motor and an engine, waaah waah waah". My kids both ride their bikes around 2 miles from the house, across major streets to get to 8th and 10th grade, they've never once been dropped off unless it was after a doctors/dentists appointment, and haven't been run over even one time. They walked the 1/4 mile to the elementary school before that.
When my kids went to school we went to one that was 15-20 min drive away. When we started homeschooling my kid did band at the local school and it was in the neighborhood. He walked with his baritone in a wagon. The high school was a couple miles away. My oldest rode the bus.

Now we homeschool so it doesn’t matter.

I feel like @Mean Mr. Mustard s the oldest parent among us by a long shot. Either that or he's just one of those dudes that's looked 45 since he was in high school

First off, go eat a dick :p
Second, had my son when I was 40, and hes 12 almost 13 now
We were thinking maybe at first having a second or third, but after he was 3 months or so we rediscovered how nice it was to get a full nights sleep and cancelled additional kid-plans and just stayed with the one.
Plus there are twins in her family line and we didnt want to chance that shit.

On the bright side, @Domon just said you only look 45 instead of 52.
