the american social media is saying monkey pox is dominating amongst the gay community .. careful who you kiss at them jazz clubs
Apparently it's quite painful as well. I like how they tip toe around it, "men who have sex with men." THOSE ARE THE GAYS

As an adjective, it may be gay sex, but as a noun, ie "THOSE ARE THE GAYS", it is incorrect.
I suppose. English is fun. It's still like, not a culture or a religion or a race, so it's like if you do gay stuff does that make you gay? English is kinda shit for mass nouns.

Well, with gay being a synonym for homosexual - the homo in homosexual comes from the greek homos, meaning same. So the act can be gay, but the person wouldn't be if they also enjoy heterosexual encounters. Actually, they don't even need to have encounters i suppose, and can define themselves however they choose.

But for a descriptor of people doing gay things, no offense to how they choose to define themselves, calling them gay is really just a descriptor. So you understand where I'm coming from? If you do gay stuff you are gonna get called gay...

Funny side note I actually took like 4 years of ancient greek. Still comes in handy sometimes for medical terms but I barely remember it anymore. When I started on this forum I could read the Illiad in greek. Now spanish ugh, all the time, it's useful at work and stuff.

"men who have sex with men" seems to cover the bases, dunno why you're belaboring "GAY" about it.

FWIW, it can also apply to plain ol' buttsexin' of any sort where a rectum gets porked in.

Well Im obviously off on a tangent arent I?

I mean, it's not the first time you've been wrong, blathering or both today, so run with it, I guess.
Well if someone was on fire I'd say they are ablaze. I dont really care if they identify with being on fire that's just how it is innit?

What's biphobia? I mean I can suss out the meaning I just didn't know it was a thing. That would imply Im scared of people who go both ways which would be weird considering I've never dated a straight girl...
Thinking bi men are actually gay is biphobia. Common biphobia is assuming bi women are sexually promiscuous.

That's literally not the literal meaning of the word. I just mean the descriptor could be better.

No comment on the second part but I mean... Paige... Lost my spare car keys fucking some chick who lived upstairs I think. Then didn't want to go get them. Which is really what I was upset about because new car keys are like $90. Of course at the time I had thought she was just hanging out with the neighbor and didn't think much of it. It's not a wonder I dont trust anyone anymore... I actually just put that together btw. You dont LOSE your car keys and wallet with your pants on. Fuckin hell.

FFS, @Dory Berkowitz-Bukowski is a subject matter expert here, and you're arguing dictionary definitions?

Im staying in my lane. I just mean -phobia is fear of, it's a specific judgement. It's not really descriptive. At this rate I could claim to be gay and only go after women because it's how I identify? It's like where do you draw the line.
