WTF So I just dick'd my butt

So I got "counseled" because I've been doing an outstanding job.

Here is some logic. I was basically doing half the staffs half finished reports including my own and all the other little things, so I asked for a raise or a promotion. It was denied. Whatever you win some you lose some. So I went back to just doing my assigned job.

I get called in and told that I'm really slacking compared to what I was doing before and I'd better step it up or it could get more serious.

And companies wonder why people are just dipping these days.

You dun played yourself.
I just dont understand the logic ok youll fire me and hire another slacker? Im a fucking unicorn and you lucked out but you gotta recognize or Ill just leave. Every employer acts like it's still the recession and we should be begging for a job. It's stupid. I could make more stocking shelves at whole foods.

If money is the metric, then you're a fool not to...

Customers suck butts.

"We need our P.E. calcs!"
"You haven't paid for those yet, we sent an invoice to you almost two weeks ago and haven't heard anything from you."
"But we need them now! The due date for them is Monday!"
"Well, you nitpicked this project in multiple ways, such that a design that at most should be Rev C is now at Rev F. Those revisions take time, which we informed you of before each change order and, as quoted in your initial proposal, the P.E. package takes 4-6 weeks to complete. Which we havent, because you haven't paid us for it."

About here I tuned out from overhearing the conversation as I wanted to go laugh.

The people on the other end of this project are such pricks. Serve em right to get fined for not having it in time.

Ok so I've been holding on to this for a few days...

I came in, got called whatever, and immediately had two collect cash orders. First one didnt answer I went to the second.

They grabbed the delivery and dipped. Apartment building. Im not about to eat $140.

Called the cops.

Door gets broken down. I get my $140 at gun point. This takes like an hour. They had the BALLS to call and complain t where I work. I get sent home for being too agitated. DO YOU WANT TO GET FUCKING PAID OR NOT.

I question the reality of this situation. We all know the cops would have just said "sounds like a civil matter to me"
There was a warrant or something. It was Baltimore County pd not Anne arundel. I simplified the actual course of events some other stuff happened that just confuses the situation. Slamming my foot in the door, screaming threats etc.

Mostly pissed about being sent home.
