Gotta shower somewhere. The free hotwax is just value added service.omg car wash water is soooo gross
I'd do a citric acid flush on that, after you clean up whatever you can.Previous owner said that it overheated and blew a headgasket. I think that they were running pure water and just let this shit rust away.
If you're going that far, it's time to hone for new rings and replace the bearings too.I'm thinking I'll do a full disassemble and hot-tank it. The head looked pretty clean, but there were a couple globs that came out when I pulled the plug on the oil pan and I want to be sure every internal passage is clean as well.
Yeah, I was thinking that as well. Gonna depend on a few things as I pull it further down. Raining now so I can't get out there. If you're going that far, it's time to hone for new rings and replace the bearings too.
Parking in the yard huh? Is that actually a requirement in Brandon.Ok, let's try this again.
You only pressure wash a greasy engine once with any vehicles in the driveway.Parking in the yard huh? Is that actually a requirement in Brandon.
are you saying this just to feel better about yourself? I don't get how it affects you in any way and why you should be disappointed. It's so dissapointing when it's the littlest dudes getting out of the biggest pick-em-ups. Like c'mon guy, it's supposed to be a joke.
Nothing wrong with being short. A lot wrong with big trucks. It's the same disappointment I get at coal-rollers. It's 2022, can insecurity NOT be the defining trait of USAmerican masculinity already?are you saying this just to feel better about yourself? its 2022, stop judging people by the car they drive.Nothing wrong with being short. A lot wrong with big trucks. It's the same disappointment I get at coal-rollers. It's 2022, can insecurity NOT be the defining trait of USAmerican masculinity already?
I'm a little biased, as I've been hit two times too many by average morons in pick-em-ups. And those were older, not the Sherman-sized bullshit they sell these days!its 2022, stop judging people by the car they drive.
I'd be legitimately surprised if "send-cut-send" had tolerances tight enough to warrant incorporating them into the drawings.I'm getting some parts cut out via SendCutSend, designing built-in tabs for them so I don't have to jig them and I can just clamp them together.
Anyone do that before? Right now I've got everything pretty tight and I need to open the tolerances but I don't know how much. Add 0.025" to each tolerance? More? Less? Ignore the tolerance and just take a file to it?
Kinda thinking I might make these to order
Kind of like how this guy did it

I'd plan on doing file work to every single one you deal with.
