Yup. Joe's got covid after going to a work conference last week where no testing was required. It's kicking his ass. I think he's passed it to me now because I feel like a truck hit me this morning.

i think you should go to a jazz club to reignite the pandemic. i could use another lockdown - i’m exhausted

yea but now everything is opened up and rarely anyone is wearing masks.

If true, it actually means that cases are WAAAAY up, thanks to at home testing, but deaths remain the same.

Both these are very valid points. To Mike's point the case and death load are the same, but the transmission vector space is much larger due to no masking/openplaces. To Fly's point, yeah, testing is likely way way down, thus also underrepresenting the transmission space.
 
@APRIL and I are getting a booster next week, so that our antibodies are over 9,000 for our Alaskan cruise.
