I need to find a race like that. In the land of the blind...
I was shocked :lol: I rechecked with them twice. Like, are you sure this is right? Lol! I've been working on distance more then speed lately getting ready for this half marathon so I was basically just out there to stretch my legs and get part of my weekend run in, I didn't really care about time. But it was a nice surprise.

I'm down under 10 minute miles for my 5 miler in the morning. Today I left at 5:13 and got back at 6:01.

I also had to stop in the first mile to pick up the dog's poo. I bagged it, and went to leave it on the cinder block wall next to the sidewalk, so I could grab it on the way home, and the cinder block wall was hollow, and open at the top.

The bagged poo fell 6 feet down the inside of a hollow cinder block wall.

Ran in the afternoon today, because there was 6" of snow this morning, and it sucked. Ended up having to take Maya and Scout, and I felt like I was swimming through pollen the whole way.

Still came back in 52 minutes, which surprised me.

Then I opened a beer and felt real drunk real fast.

I've been on the hamster wheel this week (because I'm in Denver for work), and today the Precor machine pitched an Error 29, which is Precor for "get off me, fatty".

Felt awful about my run this morning, but came in right at 50 minutes. I walked for a good 1/8 of a mile, because my left knee was being dicky, but I guess I kicked ass for the rest of it.
Have you ever tried using DMSO? That stuff will get rid of aches caused by inflammation in a matter of minutes.
 
today was my first day with my personal trainer.
she said she wants to focus on my glutes.. like i need more of that

anyhoo she has started me on a strict 12 day meal plan to reboot my metabolism and she kicked my ass today.

i have to drink 1 protein shake a day and it’s made me poop like a rockstar.. i’ll have to cross post in the pewp thread

i feel good today but my knees hurt. im walking later with lil iphone to get my 10k steps

let’s see how long i can do this for
