Food TV shows that you may not be watching but should be

Started watching Wheel of Time, though I've never read the books. I had to cut back the resolution to 1080p, because holy shit, streaming 4k looks terrible, even on my fast internet.

1080p keeps the backgrounds from worming out on my roku stick, at least.
What are you streaming it through? I bought a newer roku stick last month and it's pretty sharp (on my 13 year old panasonic).
I should install the other Roku on the newer 4k downstairs and watch the shitshow!

Is it any good? I haven't read the books either so I'm on the fence about watching it

It seems to jump right into the action, and the cast isn't _terrible_, but I'm not certain about it yet (I've watched two eps).

Brand new Roku 4k stick, through a more-or-less brand new Denon receiver, into a 4k LG TV, all on good quality 18gbps HDMI cables.

Id consider myself a hardcore fan of WoT, hell, all my online names are from it. But im ok with the shows differences. Its like i get a new look at the story with some differences in a different medium, and more WoT is always good for me.

Apparently a more modern take too. Less sexism, more gay/trans people. For better or worse...

Watching a lot of prime/Netflix this holiday season. Squidgame? Couldn't get past the gambling junkie.
Hellbound? Kind of one dimensional. Lost In Space S3 is definitely the best season so far.
Cowboy Bebop gets ***** for the soundtrack and is funny as hell.
Wheel Of Time rocks. Although I was a little disappointed at the HBO treatment with only 3 bingeable episodes followed by weekly drops.
Yellowjackets is mindblowingly
Good.
Stay tuned as I'm actually a timeshare salesbot. Don't knock it till you've purchased one.
They're useless and can't be cancelled.

Sometimes I put Nikocado Avocado on in the background and listen to him rant while I work on spreadsheets. Aside from that I don't really "watch" food channels anymore. It's a self defeating experience. All it does is make me want food I'm too lazy to go out and buy.
