Food TV shows that you may not be watching but should be

It's a solid 6 outta 10. Their costume department needs to stop shopping at Walmart. It's shocking how much a difference bad costumes can make in breaking the realism
i did feel that it was not at all how i saw it while i was reading it.. its not as fantastical as i though it would be :)

coo coo.

The main chars seem right for the most part. Episode 2 and 3 were better than 1 (1 had some seriously bad acting).

I pictured Thom Merrelin as older, but he's growing on me.

My husband is so disappointed. He’s been waiting years and while he’ll watch it there is def analysis and complaining after each episode.

Yes. I feel we would all get along splendidly if neighbors.

I’ve read the first book so I understand where he is coming from. I started the second but suck at finding time to read.

Eye of the World is slooooooow. Twenty pages describing each village they stop in as therye running, and their marvel about how its bigger compared to the last one.

Only time i get to read is about 20-30 minutes a day in bed just before falling asleep on the kindle. Im re-reading the whole series and really enjoying it, im on book 3 right now. So if nothing else, the show got me re-reading the books.

@kiwi

If he hasnt already seen it, show this to your husband.

Might give him some hope for the WoT show. The showrunner seems to understand the books well and is a fan.

I'm digging The Last Kingdom.
Apparently no one ever gets sick of vikings

Norweigan to.

Started watching Wheel of Time, though I've never read the books. I had to cut back the resolution to 1080p, because holy shit, streaming 4k looks terrible, even on my fast internet.

1080p keeps the backgrounds from worming out on my roku stick, at least.
