to clarify, the discord isn't actually Like That re: the vitriol, they were just being goofs and I responded in kind, but for a good 5-10 years starting at age 17, the only social interaction I really got was on the old forum and it did not give me a healthy perspective/did support already-internalized insecurities, but I feel like I've bitched about it at length before

Shortly after posting that book of a story, the internet, TV, and phone system went down here. The moron attendant (same guy who can read “rental”) said he was okay with his phone not working. What if he needed to call 911? What a fuckin dipstick.
Yes, I took care of it. Internet etc wasn’t restored until almost 5 am Pacific Time. I WILL be having a talk with doctor, nurse, and management here today about,Ed’s and this will be addressed also. It’s not okay.
BTW, I know that story* is long, but I’m rather proud of that one. On the medical side, I’m swelling up like crazy. My legs. OMG. My ankles are swelling like they did while I was still having surgeries, but my legs are like balloon animals. Photos don’t do them justice.
It was also made clear to the boss here that I’m not to be up walking or standing without assistance, and that wasn’t passed to anyone because mr rental was oblivious to that.
I’m gonna make this place work out, and it’ll be on my terms, dammit.
