I just love that I've got y'all answering to the term "bass cadet"
Guy, I've been hearing that since 5th grade orchestra. Might even have been the teacher, a bass player himself. He considered us the only vital instrument, the rest were just fluff so undersized people could make music. And pay taxes and buy tickets and shit.

Picked a bunch of rhubarb that was taking over my lawn. Next door neighbor saw me picking rhubarb, decided to pick his overgrown patch and give it to me too. Now I have 3.5 pounds of rhubarb to use.

Turned about half a pound into a rhubarb crisp, 3 pounds left.
Those don't look like rhubarb at all.

WOWZA - that sounds fucing awesome!! Wish my rhubarb "patch" was bigger. Hardly enough for 2? pies a season so it ends up with strawberries to stretch it. Not terrible but not my fav.

Idea - watermelon survives cooking and drying pretty good. If you want to mix it up that might be good. meh.

When I came of age (19 back then in Nebraska) my favorite watering hole had 50¢ drafts and a rum and Coke was 50¢. The barstools were actual saddles, or half of them were, and the other half mimicked saddles. After ten R&Cs, slide off to take a leak and the floor seemed a long way away. Walking to the can all rubber legged. Good times.
You remind me of some good times Immi back in little Midwest farmville towns most would consider boring.
Street dances, deer antlers and paneling, nickel beer. Good times.

That was back when people weren't all uptight about how old are you and can you drive and safety and stuff. It was great

I got lucky because Nebraska raised the drinking age after I’d aged in, so I still got to drink for a year as an “underage” adult LOL adult sssuuuurrre
