Food 2021 Garden Thrad

April in a few years.

So do you grow all of those or just collect the pictures?
All of them and more - other stuff coming from another company. I'll start about 30 trays of 18 plants I figure.
Don't be silly - I save the catalogs. Pictures AND recipes. And history and stuff - Baker Creek's catalog is about 500 pages and e.g. when you get to poppies there are 10+ pages of historical shit.

ah, I should post my seeds. All my generic stuff is from High Mowing seeds, and my specific fuck-you-disease hybrids are from TotallyTomatoes or right from the labs that make em

Ive definitely bought baker creek in the past though, I still get their seed catalogue. Theres somethin nice about paging through a seed catalogue and circling stuff that clicking categories on a website just cant do.

Lee Valley Tools does that for me
they have a gardening catalogue too. I could never afford a thing out of either of their catalogues for the most part, but its still nice to look.

I have a Veritas 3 foot straight edge, .01 thou over 3ft if i remember right from them though

Every other holiday, Dad gets me or the wife something from them. Got us a Peasant's Knife one year for christmas. Wonderful knife

Time to buy chicken feed again.
127 eggs plus whatever's there when I get home. Call it 11 dozen. About $5.50 per.
Next go-round be less as laying is picking up pretty noticeably in the last 2-3 weeks as days get longer.
Aside from a freak like once in 20 years winter blast weather is what folks further north would consider warm spring/cool summer.
Possible it could get below 32f a night or three still but gardens will be in the ground and running this time next month.
