I'm with you - say no to Paul. The guys at work have been trying to convert me back to Paulism so I wear this every day to ward them off. They've never read the Bible so I've had loads of fun with them.

You probably bummed them out,"damn, I didn't need to marry Betty Jean. We still would have been siblings."I still haven't run out of bible facts that my Christian co-workers don't know about. The topic today was abortion so I sent one of them Numbers 5:11-31 that describes a god ordained abortion ritual. I got no comment.
dude, that is a super obvious passage that says abortion is a god-ordained punishment for infidelity. How do religious people ignore that oneI still haven't run out of bible facts that my Christian co-workers don't know about. That passage only addresses abortion in the case of a married woman suspected of cheating. It doesn't address the issue of an unmarried(or widowed) woman having an abortion so the message to OOD's co-workers may not have made a total wrap of the abortion subject.dude, that is a super obvious passage that says abortion is a god-ordained punishment for infidelity. The mental work around will be that it was because the woman committed a sin and it's her fault her baby died because she's a filthy sinner. The reason I didn't get a comment is because now they have to figure out why it's okay for God to kill "babies". The best option to keep their faith is to ignore it, "God works in mysterious ways".That passage only addresses abortion in the case of a married woman suspected of cheating. I was an acolyte in the episcopal church for years but I've forgotten a lot and never bought into most of it anyway, I started going because of a misunderstanding and then my need to be helpful and to make adults like me kept me there lolIt's catholic which wouldn't apply to most people I know but it's a good point.
Oh yeah Episcopal does the purgatory stuff too, if I'm not mistaken. Most churches are Baptist and Methodist around here. They don't have as many books in the bible as Catholic bibles.I was an acolyte in the episcopal church for years but I've forgotten a lot and never bought into most of it anyway, I started going because of a misunderstanding and then my need to be helpful and to make adults like me kept me there lol
