WHo the fuck knows. That's like a 15 second job in Photoshop. We are not hoping to elect his son.
if you clicked the nypost article i posted you would see that hunter brought in a laptop for repair and never picked it up or paid for the labor. So that pic and some letters from burisma asking for political help was leaked.

Uh huh, so no chain of custody, and no vetting of the information, and yet you're willing to lap it up.

Tell me, when did you stop beating your girlfriend?

by saying social security needs to be phased out you're saying wall street should control whether people starve in retirement.

debt interest payments are 220B out of the trillions in the budget. Its big, but not that big.

Phased out "or replaced".
As in with something better.

SS has no money. Congress has to fund it every year out of the current budget to pay out people who've been paying in, some of them since the 1950s.
This because they already took all the money they paid in all those years and blew it.
That doesn't sound like an outfit that should be "managing" people's money. Especially not one they're forced to pay in to.
It seems all they know about finance is how to take other people's money and finance themselves with it. Not seeing how that's any better than wall st.

On an individual level yes, an SS check is better than nothing. Still poor living for many while at the same time restricting how much they can make on the side and still receive the SS money. So it sort of locks them in to a cycle of poverty and dependence but between that and other assistance programs (housing, food, etc.) they can at least afford to be poor indoors I guess.

The only reason the check is there is because the government thinks it can just keep printing more debt. The money they worked for and contributed has long since been stolen.

As far as the debt goes, it keeps rising, so pretty clear the spending is too much and those 220b payments aren't enough.

One other thing...

When the SS act was passed the average life expectancy for a male in this country was around 60 years. For a female it was around 64.

The retirement age was set at 65. Let that sink in.

It was never about being financially provided for in your old age or whatever. They expected enough of us to be dead they'd never have to pay out.
It was just a hoodwink for the government to get even more of our money.
Screw them.
