Fixed my two broken pedals. The welds are now the strongest thing on them. Stupid cast aluminum kept off-gassing.

I can get a new set from Raxles, or some cheap Chinese shit from Rockauto.By the time the boots fail the rest ain't far behind, just do the whole axle, it's actually easier than screwing around with boots and grease.
Yeah, I've got a lot of shit cars.Unless you can jump in your car right now and travel 3000 to 4000 miles without issue your car is shit. You have a shit car.
I think you're describing most of us.Unless you can jump in your car right now and travel 3000 to 4000 miles without issue your car is shit. You have a shit car.

Q5 can do it.Every one of my vehicles, though not pretty, you could jump in right now and go from TX to MN, or even CA to NY, and expect nothing less than a trouble-free ride.
If you can't, you're failing.
Great joke but wrong thread.Every one of my vehicles, though not pretty, you could jump in right now and go from TX to MN, or even CA to NY, and expect nothing less than a trouble-free ride.

Dude, shit can break any time, unexpectedly. Went to lunch with boss and a few co-workers in his virtually new Lincoln. Came out, someone says "da fuq with dat tire?" Tie-rod snapped. While we were eating? Right as he put it in park? idk, it certainly wasn't a mile from the place when we whipped off I-75. I also lived being on a Salt & Pepper Shaker ride at the carnival and the door came open. The door was locked fine for a few spins. Then it wasn't, then it was ripped off on it's first hit against the ground. I've had bad luck at the carnival. And Cedar Point. FUckers.Every one of my vehicles, though not pretty, you could jump in right now and go from TX to MN, or even CA to NY, and expect nothing less than a trouble-free ride.

I'd say this about my Saturn but since I made the last payment it would be bad luck. Oh wait, that already happened. Came home few days ago, got out the vehicle, went to shut door and entire handle assembly came off. I don't mind fixing the door, but really hate fucking with interior trim. I guess it doesn't have to be perfect, it is the family haul-every-dirty-thing vehicle. The Buick has been so trouble free it feels weird not having to fix stuff.
