Food The (not so) delicious food thread

Got this marinating in the fridge for later. I don't have the beer can charcoal roaster that he's got, but I might crack out the charcoal grill for this one.

 
It makes it much smoother. Kind of a pain in the ass tho.
meh, extra minute in the food processor. Hummas from the store is sometimes a little grainy imo - I leave the skins on but make it very smooth. Sometimes I buy the split chickpeas which have generally lost their skin in the process. Those are better for making tempeh - the big space formed by the whole ones can thwart the proper growth of the tempeh mold.

As an experiment, try removing the skins once. I think you'll find there is a difference.
