I once used the G string at church and the worship leader started speaking in tongues over me.
Reminds me of the olde Ibanez ' musician' fretless I regret not buying . Almost bought the bass off of 'Mahogany Rush 'bassist too , vintage Fender J , regret not buying that either . Went with a brand new Vantage headless fretless instead , because 1985.
Building up a nixie clock now, gonna trade it with a guy for a mexican fender P-bass he doesn't use.

Old shit. Like guitar tubes but a filament would form a number or letter. They would stack 0-9 behind each other, so the effect is slightly broken up.

And much like guitar tubes, they make modern nixie tubes, but people pay silly money for the old vintage ones. I think the Russian ones are considered the holy grail for that. Was never my thing per se. LED World has been bad enough.
