What is all this surgery going on? Afaik nobody in my immediate family has ever had any surgery and I haven't either. Not even had tonsils taken out. Don't think DJB has seen a doctor since I was born. Whats up guys?

Americans are crazy and unhealthy.

I had 2 foot surgeries (correcting bunions), 2 back surgeries to remove a small cyst and appendectomy. Oh and I was hit by a car when I was 5 (not really surgery for that, just stitched up my scalp). I guess that's a lot? I dunno, I think they were pretty minor compared to others.

I think I've mentioned this before, but I woke up during one of my foot surgeries, and sat up asking what was going on before they put me out again. My foot doctor denied it happened, but I'm sure of it. No PTSD or anything from it. Needles don't bother me anymore.

I didn't even know you'd need surgery for bunions. My nan just I dunno, got over them and put cream on it or something.

The pin is still in my left foot. Last couple weeks, it's been touching a nerve every so often; feels like, well, that I have a pin in my foot. It's fairly minor so far. I did have the pin taken out of my right foot years ago because that one totally hit a nerve one day while I was walking into a venue for a concert. I nearly fell over in pin. I had thought some shot me in the leg.

You could get the pin pulled. My son had bunion surgery and ended up doing that a few years later. He wears smarter shoes now, hasn't seemed to come back.

I stubbed my little toe because I wasn't wearing my safety sandals in the garage last weekend. My tolerance for shoes in the office this week is even lower than normal.
