Ontopic The new car-seching thread

I've heard that, I'm looking at them.
I need an air compressor.
honestly, these days if you're just getting into it? Id go battery compression drive stuff. Just as much power even on stuff like die grinders and you dont need a 15 CFM compressor for the high-flow-equivalent tools

ive had good luck with almost all their pneumatics. I have high quality shit for the commonly used stuff (finish nailer, brad nailer, full head nailer), but i have the hf pin nailer, stapler, etc and theyre nice.
They're hit or miss for me. I absolutely adore the venturi brake bleeder I bought from there, but the flange former broke in two after a couple of panels (not even sheet that was too thick for the anvil, it was within spec).

A riveter seems simple enough to get right, and it appears they did.

I agree, and I love my cordless angle grinder and itty-bitty hitachi impact personal massager.

But given what @Mr. Asa plays with, I'd also assume the compressor would get double duty running something like a blast cabinet and HVLP paint gun.

You mean battery powered compressors like this guy?

I haven't gotten there yet, but I'm approaching it, for sure.

nope.

stuff with integral flywheels or air compressors that get run by a battery. The one+ gear seems to the have the most, but i dont see that they have a rivet gun. Milwaukee m12 does though

Being milwaukee its stupid expensive though

Integral compressor. How strange. If it works, though.

I'd probably prefer to get an actual compressor and use a pneumatic
I guess the main difference for me is i move my tools everywhere, and lugging the compressor is a pain. If i could have a stationary compressor and always be in range of hte hose it would be much more palatable.

From a boat forum I'm on. Reading someone's adventure of getting their Lonestar Flamingo up and running.

If you're gonna use aircraft stripper, get thick, THICK gloves.

Then realize that you're going to get it on your skin somehow anyway, and keep the water handy. Oh, and don't do the job around anything you care about.

Kiddos just finished shooting this shit inside the frame of their roadster.

It was surprisingly less of a pain than I thought it would be. I duct taped some paint stirrers together to hold the nozzle steady, and they threaded it into the holes in the frame while I held the nozzle on the can.

I want those 8x8's?, railroad ties?, whatever those are laying behind your sawhorses that look like they've been naturally weathered and desert-dried since the 1800s for decorative purposes.
I think they're railroad ties.

They're bowing out more and more into my property with each year, so they need replacing, but I don't want to open that bag of worms with the neighbor right now.
