Are you having a stroke? You posted that a couple of days ago.

I know, and they’re still pedaling it, which is the reason I posted about it again. I also remember you replying saying it wasn’t true.

So there. Are you stroking it?:p

As usual they're taking something with a kernel of truth and running sideways misrepresenting it.

Whole bunch of false positives.

There's more like that out there.

Don't remember where I read it or if it's true but something about a bunch of test kits sent in that were never actually done on anyone and those coming back positive.

I don't know how widespread it is but have read other things where legit medical folks question the accuracy of some of these type of test.
Part of the reason why they require 2 or 3 negatives in a row for an actual medical worker to go back to work.

No, I don't have a library of links saved up for every little thing.

Different instance. The false story about the 300 labs with all positive tests was Florida. They were using that to explain the sharp rise in cases there.

I Googled it a few days ago and it’s totally false and was attributed to a blogger who was then quoted by “news” organizations without vetting.

Apparently some smaller testing sites around Orlando were only reporting positives. So those sites appeared to have a 100% positivity rate. They have now gone back and reported all the negatives as well. People craving for their narrative to be right will cling to anything.

But remember Hanlon's razor: Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

While not really stupidity in this case, more that all sorts of people are learning how to do things on the fly.

I hate that shit. It only has to happen once then everybody starts "sourcing" each other with it.

I always leave stupidity as a possibility available as an explanation, but he was saying 300 labs were doing all positives.

He also said that since March, only 14 school-age kids have died from Covid nationwide.

Yeah, that's got to be BS, as our positivity rate would be through the roof. And IIRC, its like 10-15% (which is still too high).

And who knows, maybe that's true about the kids. Obviously, the real concern is that those kids have parents and teachers, who are at a much high risk of dying when the kids transmit it to them. I'd love to hear people's reply to that...

two things re: kids (they're not refuting you or @Immigrant , they're just related to what yous two were talking about)
1. schools shut down pretty quickly and stayed that way, so kids haven't been interacting as much with other little germ factory kids for sustained periods in closed rooms with garbage clean air circulation
2. we know now that kids are affected differently, so children that died earlier of more circulatory/inflammatory related processes may not have been tested

(also this is an emotional appeal so I'm not including it in my points, but I'd love for that dipshit to tell the kids' grieving families that their kids were ~only~ one of a small handful so it's ok)

A three second Google search shows the number of dead kids to be between 26-151 depending on ages included.

Regardless, a guy is knowingly spreading misinformation on the public airwaves concerning a pandemic and gets a Presidential medal for it.
