Ontopic The new car-seching thread

Wait, you're fixed? I thought you were morally opposed to that. Congrats!

Or did @APRIL just take the seat off your bike before the last time you bragged about going for a ride after kiki hurt her pussy?
Yup, he did it and I did it too a few months later.

Sun/shadow/glare + cap color/actual paint + my outdated shitty phone = Bahama blue best match. Medium blue next best. Others are too dark. Really all look a little darker than the piece or the piece doesn't have as much metallic glitter as the can caps.

I'm not seeing metallic in the original piece. Are you wanting to make it metallic but same similar blue?
If so, Bahama is closest, but not really a match.

Fired up the red Z and fixed the misfire at idle. It was about 20% off for milliseconds open at idle.

Now it's just about right on (+- 3% correction based on oxygen sensor feedback).

1st pic Bahama is the "closest" but when you have it next to the other piece it's so not going to match.
Are any of these colors, especially a shade lighter than Bahama, available in a non-metallic finish?
Aside from the hard color, the amount of flake/sparkle in that stuff is way off of what you're trying to mate it to.

Based on the theory that nobody regrets going big, I sprung for the "300°" duration cam for the Datsun.

It's actually [email protected]" (both intake and exhaust), but it knocks dynamic compression back to 7.46:1, which is eminently reasonable for pump gas (I would put the ceiling on L-gata motors at around 8:1 dynamic CR for pump).

Kit comes with new rockers, lash pads, valve springs, keepers, and low-pro seals (since this bitch has a .560" lift).
