Food TV shows that you may not be watching but should be

I skipped as much as I could get away with and wound up somewhere in the middle of "success in life ".
It was the rebel without a clue attitude that both propelled and held me back i think.

I finished that Tiger King series. Each episode made me feel worse about myself than the previous episode, but I slogged through it. IIRC, it said there between 5000-10,000 tigers in captivity in the US. What the fuck?!?

I love zoos. I know a lot of folks think they’re unnecessary or cruel, but private zoos? Oh fuck no. The ones on the show, and the ones I’ve seen outside the show, are all shitholes run by people whose mental health is definitely questionable. It’s time for government intervention for ALL private zoos and private ownership of “exotic” animals.

Humans aren’t evolved as much as some think. And we’re all evolving at different rates too. I’m at least 1000 years more evolved than my golf partner.

It’s all relative. Let’s looks at some of the other parents on that show.

The Langmores.
The crazy preacher.
The Snells, or Darlene now. She has preacher baby.
The lawyer, Jessica Jones’ mom.

Compared to them, the Byrdes are parents of the year.

One of the best parts of this show was the settings and placement of the people to be interviewed, like the ol’ King of Summerteeth here. “Can you take your shirt off for the interviews? Your (smirk) ink artwork (smirk again) is worth noting”.

And the hired “killer”. “Can you get into your homemade hot tub for the interview? Splash around some.”

Fascinating stuff.

Watched the first episode of Ozark S3.

I still love Ruth Langmore. That actress is fantastic. I never want to see her interviewed out of character.
