Can Windows Home even address that much memory?

I mean, I know LOOONIX can, but the last time I ran windows, anything above 16GB was a non-starter for anything less than #PROFESSIONALGRADE.

Hence why I asked the question.

I also haven't upgraded hardware in the windows machine since it auto-upgraded itself to windows 10. It still has 16GB of memory, which was the max for windows 7 home premium or w/e.
ok.

all windows 10 versions ahve a minimium of 128gb limit, and a max of 512 for pro. Datacenter server variants support 2tb

back in that era, windows was still a little expensive. It wasnt until 10 that they basically gave you 17 different ways to easily get it for free

You could buy $10 keys from [H]. And probably still can.
I got banned from [H] more than a decade ago.

Also, I mostly run linux and MacOS. No point in doing deep dives into bullshit like that where I'll have to wonder in a month whether the thing will boot or not depending on whether it's found it's Winblows Genuine Advantage™ certificate or not.
