Ontopic String's and Adi's gear & pedal thread

Frustrated. Been waiting a year to have enough disposable Savings to buy the Eden 112EX. Was going to pull the trigger today.
ITS FUCKING BACKORDERED TIL 1/14/20.

Should I make a major mistake and order a backordered product?

I'll build you one, just not for that price.

I still have a whizzer cone & woofer pair out of an old church organ in a box around here somewhere. Done right they can sound really nice.

Of course not for that price, you're not a factory in China. Can you come close to the same specs? The biggest specs are as follows I need a 4 ohm cabinet. I need 32 lb or less. I need something that begins in the 40 Hertz range. I don't want or need a tweeter. A wizi sounds great! I would even deal with that tweeter if that's what it took to get the components down to 4 Ohms I could always kill the Tweeter with a potentiometer.

I'm sure there's 4ohm 12's out there though I'm not sure why. Makes for a really small rig with no room to expand.

I don't want or need any room to expand. I've got a bigger cabinet for bigger gigs. I want this one to just haul around to my acoustic gigs so I can control my own sound with my own head and my own cabinet behind the drummer where it should be instead of playing through the PA where I always Overdrive.

You should maybe hear the whizzer before buying one, or make sure they have a good return policy.
They reach up into tweeter range too, like 8khz or so, and being part of the cone you can't just turn it down like a separate tweeter.
