Hawt The Blatantly Misogynistic Man Thread

Installed a new faucet primarily for cleaning up after brew days. The old pos laundry tub faucet leaked and was generally useless.

Only took two trips to Home Depot!

I fuckin' hate that utility tub.

How did you get the legs to go in straight and not wobble? I'm still working through that on the one I bought for my garage.

I'd use an intermediate 12V SLA battery, supercapacitor, car audio capacitor or something that the solar panel charges.
Then discharge that into your motor to actually make the putt - I'd use a linear actuator of some sort that can be driven at an exact speed.

Technically your application is still solar powered, and you can get by with a much smaller panel. Size it so it gathers enough energy throughout the day to provide the energy needed for the number of putts per day it'll be doing. Couple watt panel should do the job easy.

We can't use any stored energy (capacitors, batteries, springs, gravity, etc) "because its too difficult to ensure there's no stored energy" aka prof is lazy as balls.
Not even gravity. Damnit.

Is the goal to make a consistent distance putt? longest putt?

No stored gravity. Current idea is to have the motor turn a swing arm with a putter on it.

Goal is to make the putt. We have 4 minutes, we can adjust direction and all that, but once the lamp is on we can't touch anything with the putter.

Therefore kinetic energy storage is allowed. Good to know.

Does it have to be an actual putter? Is the head from a putter acceptable?
