We never lost power. Our house is on the side of a hill facing west, and most of the wind we got was southwesterly, so we were well shielded from the brunt of the wind. Other than a few branches off trees, all is good. Infrastructure up here is fucked though, have internet but telephone service is out on both my landline and cellphone.
Halifax proper got hit pretty hard. Lots of ripped up trees, plus this happened:
