WTF So I just dick'd my butt

It's been six years. This is the longest I've ever held a job... or even a career.

Starting to feel burned out.
I've managed to switch it up every 10-12 years to something new, while not completely abandoning the skills gained in the previous career. Lot of jobs/careers people sort of plateau by or before that, imo.

Plan for the next big gig - it'll warm your soul until it's time to roll.

Had my ergo eval today.

When I worked @ jsc I had a chair that looked like it was made in 1973 but they wouldnt just give me a new one
I found out that to get a new chair all I had to do was schedule a ergonomic evaluation through HR
Did that
Lady came out , saw my pos chair , took some measurements on how I was sitting and holy shit the literal next day I had a brand new still in the plastic chair delivered to my desk
It was called "the dolphin" on the paperwork
pure insanity but working the system sometimes actually works

I've got a decent chair, I just have shit posture.

The only redeeming thing about my office is that the desk will go up and down, so I can stand and fart sometimes instead of sitting and farting all the time.

Been there, some days I feel it more than others. I'm starting a 3rd business (business VoIP phone service) so hopefully that takes off. I think it should be an easier sell than managed IT services. Hopefully I can sell some big accounts. A friend of mine is sending me a bunch of hot referrals. I don't even have a logo, website, or the phone plans ironed out yet. I did setup the S-Corp, got EIN, got SIP trunk vendor, D&B number (need it for FCC forms that I have to file), mailbox, and a few other things. Still have like 25 other To-Do items to get the business going. I forgot how long it takes to get this shit done.

I noticed this week that my employee is no longer wearing a wedding ring. I guess he split with his now former wife.
I lost mine swimming in the Atlantic about 9 years ago. The wedding ring, not the wife. The wife is almost back from swimming class. For the kids, not her.
Man this is a really confusing issue! What's the subject?

I set up a website for a client of mine who does what you do and started offering voip too.

They are not doing enough with it to make it successful though.

Steve Irwin's kid holding another one of my babies.

Well, this one is more like a nephew, I wasn't hugely involved in that product, but I've got a bit of code and electronics in there.

Helping scientists science. Feels good man.
