GAY Who are the Flatboi Downs - Part III

I plan on a full 144 holes today, maybe 162 if my golf partner can pull his head out.

I can’t get him how to quickly deduce 10% of anything in his head and if he could, it would speed things up a little around here.

Basic math, motherfucker. C’mon.

I always get stumped at 11%.

Kind of hard to see but I got ahold of a bunch of much heavier duty fence wire with a bigger pattern. Running two layers of that over the top of everything else and off-setting the pattern so an 8 square inch hole (2x4) becomes a 2 square inch hole (1x2) of much thicker stronger wire.

A blitzkrieg of the toughest monsters we have here won't be able to get in this thing.

Mine is off somewhat so I do the odometer thing also. 230 in the summer, 200-ish in the winter.

How much of a pain in the ass it is to fix that depends entirely on whether or not yours has a cover somewhere in the floor you can take off to access the top of the gas tank or if you have to take the whole tank out from under the van.

Hey, thoughts on this, since we're talking gas. A bout 6 months ago I parked outside and apparently the yoots in the neighborhood were back to siphoning gas. Non-locking fuel door flipped open was my first clue. ANyway, the little SOBs pushed the anti-siphon device down in the tube about 8"/22 cm. Major pain in the ass, am slightly reluctant to go digging at in intensely, have tried to snag it., no love FIll-ups are slow as fuck.

Suppose I can call the sheriff, make a report and eat the insurance deductible any time. FFS

@HipHugHer @Jehannum @Mr. Asa , any thoughts on this small yet burning issue?
Oh - 2009 Saturn Vue.

That little flipper door thing where you put the gas in isn't the anti-siphon.

There'll be a cage/screen in the filler tube, probably about that 8" down you say yours is stuck at.

Had to take that top section of tube off to clean some stuff out of ours once. Might be able to use a magnet to pull yours out, or not.

Your filler tube should be plastic with the "cage" inside molded as part of the tube. Not something they could push further in.
Whatever is blocking the flow is laying up against that little cage.

"Area 52"

At first I thought “poultry Auschwitz” but after seeing “Area 52”, figured Stalag 13 would be a better response.

They knocked the flipper off and down to the cage and it's jammed up and jelly tight. I tried with the magnet, no love. Maybe I just need to take another swing at it. Thanks for the thoughts. Always something.

I’ve had two Sundays to get my golf swing back in order after the angioplasty, and no progress at all. My swing sucks now.

Thinking about retiring.

Probably gonna have to take that section of pipe out to get it out. Not too bad on this truck but yours probably more cramped space to work.

If you can get it to the top somehow, "might" be able to grab it with a needle nose and bend, twist, work it oot.

Go slow, don't make any sparks.

Keep your other hand on the car to help ground any static.

Have the wife on standby to call 911.

Film it.

Think I'll make a grabber from the strongest neodymium mag I have and cover it so it can't spark. I have a grounding wrist strap for when I do my electronics stuff, I'll use that. I'll move the vehicle away from the house, no need to involve two insurance companies if it goes south. I already got the tshirt for the job. o_O

Needle nose vice grips instead of pliers if you have one. Otherwise you'll be fishing it to the top at least twice.
