They didn't do anything for me. Apparently they help some people, but I don't know why.I like trolling through various sites for upgrades, see what might be worth a shit. I think this is the first time I've seen one of these. How does it work?

Gotcha I'll have to take the lid off the case to check.Same shit as the "tl-smoother", they fix a specific problem with DRV8825 drivers. On printers with A4988 drivers they do jack shit.
If it's an Ender 3, it's got A4988 drivers.Gotcha I'll have to take the lid off the case to check.
If it looks like this, it's A4988:Its an Ender 3 clone, by SainSmart. Know if that matters?
There are guys with the A4988 drivers that swear they helped.Same shit as the "tl-smoother", they fix a specific problem with DRV8825 drivers. On printers with A4988 drivers they do jack shit.
Source? Had a print come unattached last night and got my very first Glob O Death. Not sure what I'm going to be able to salvage.I just slapped a genuine 24V E3D into my hooptie of doom.
Still waiting on the Paquette engineering upgrade board.
E3D has an amazon storefront, I bought through that.Source? Had a print come unattached last night and got my very first Glob O Death. Not sure what I'm going to be able to salvage.
Yes, you have to change the thermistor to type 5, and also you have to set the max temp to 285.Ok, I'm probably looking at the one you found, then. In the Q&A section it mentions the possibility of flashing the firmware to deal with different thermistor values. You have to do any of that?
I honestly don't remember whether I had to change type of thermistor or not, but I do remember having to update the max temp.Gotcha. I'll start digging it apart.
I have not, but I fucked around with it enough with my shitty delta that I'm familiar with the program. Any benefits to it prior to doing this?IYou flashed to marlin already?
Not at home at the moment, but I used the bullseye extruder mount.I have not, but I fucked around with it enough with my shitty delta that I'm familiar with the program. Any benefits to it prior to doing this?
You have any pictures of how you mounted your extruder? Looking at mine it looks like there are two threaded portions at the top and I don't see that on the E3D stuff. Will printed stuff work?
