I'm curious how you square preventative measures and type 2 diabeetus though. Do those people not get coverage because they ate themselves into sickness, and we've suddenly decided to attach virtuous behavior to coverages?

I have a hunch the rates were climbing at nearly the same pace prior to the ACA passing. The biggest mistake made when legislating that was removal of the public option and bringing in lobbyists for the healthcare industry to advise.
