Dude, make no mistake, I've got this and this for food.

But if we're doing 'minimalist' gear that's meant to go backpacking, I think something usable and replaceable at the end of the season is good.
Word. I make fiddys by saving $15 here and there.

brickseek is just an inventory checker. Slickdeals is the source. Pretty much the only one around these days, specifically the forums. By the time something hits the front page, its gone.
Or you can just add alerts for shit you want. Or get their premium and find clearance deals at the store near you. Brickseek is pretty cool.

It just sends you a mailing list of shit thats discounted more than a certain percentage? The amount of message traffic needed to constantly poll the stores inventories must be nuts, im surprised they havent locked out brickseek

You can watch certain items. Any time the price changes, they alert you.

And they have a listing of clearance items at your specific local store (Walmart/Target/etc). Sometimes for Walmart, it will provide you a link to pay online (at full price), then when you walk into the store it auto-corrects to the clearance price.
