I'm not shoveling ten yards one truck full at a a time. They do not help you load it here.
Usually they will be total shit from the county - full of leaves, bits of rotten, moldy trees. I'm assuming at $30+/yard you are getting nice, all hardwood mulch like for a flowerbed. Otherwise you are supposed to call some local tree trimmers and tell them you are looking for a bunch of mulch and if their guys are doing a job near you could you score the chips. OR you just see said workmen and strike them with $40-50 cash for each 8* yards they bring you. *8 yard dump is most common size they like in cold weather areas, since they can get around frost law with that size.
Sometimes you get lucky and they will bring for free to save dump fees. I got a pile about as big as a 3 car garage that way.

theres a txt list around here for all the tree guys. You get on it and theyll come dump their chip trucks at your place for free.
Now THAT's f'n awesome. But still, that might not compare to what valve bought. Tree trimmers might bring you a load or pine needles one day, hardwood that is half leaf another.

Had a 3pm call scheduled with Vivent Solar, after someone approached me in Home Depot yesterday.

It's now 3:15 and no call yet.

I even added the number to my Robocall spam thingy so it would come through.

I have better things to do.

Leaves don't rake themselves.

Vivent solar one of those "we're gonna put a system on the roof and you pay us X¢ per KWH it generates" companies?

yet another thing i would totally take advantage of for business services if this darn education didnt keep getting in the way and making me do smartypants work.

Free chips, ill shred em, sell em as mulch for 30 a yard

i covered all my beds in geotextile, so i only need like 1/4 inch of mulch just to cover the black fabric for aethetic purposes.

At some point ill invest in the rubber shit so i never have to replace it.

I suppose i could do pea gravel or #57 or something that looks nice for stone as well since its on top of a substrate and wouldnt be mixing in with the soil.
