Well what's involved in the build? Does somebody make a pre burned PC board with the circuit on it?

I did know that, and I forgot. I lost my Ric over 20 years ago.Just a signal splitter. It's used to split the pickups on a ric. But you knew that.
Cumbersome,
This works and is cheap. But it's short so there's two cables hanging off. Kinda cumbersome.View attachment 6875
I take it the Ric has one stereo plug that needs to split to two amps?
Be easy to make up a custom cable to do it. Shrink tubing over the "Y" split.
I've done this song and I very much disliked it while we did it. My front man at the time was also a bass player, and he literally hit me over the head cuz I'd screw up that stupid Solo in the middle of it. It's a stupid solo and I hate it and I refuse to play a stupid Solo in a stupid manner.
Yes. Like this.

It actually splits the pickups. So if you select only the bridge, only the bridge will be heard from one of the amps.
I have cables to do it. Just thought it might be cool to have a real ric box.
If I recall, for the Ricco Jack out of the base itself you needed a stereo cable.Aso!
I thought those were individual mono jacks for each pickup. Didn't realize they used a shorting jack deal for normal and Ric-O-Sound.

I use a MXR a/b now for splitting signals. But I want to mess with the splitting the pickup signals. So I'll try a stereo cable into the A/B. The end results is a stereo signal split to mono anyway. Should work.
