Mounting points for one of the few performance mods I did. Stock valve lift this engine can take is damn near 5/8". A long while back someone realized the rockers from a Chevy I6 of similar vintage mounts up with very few mods. With the change in mounting points it goes from a 1.6 ratio on the Chevy to 1.75 on my engine.

It's so teeny tiny

Apparently designed really well for someone that's got a smallish property. The thing is, it's $12k. I can get a 60's ford tractor with a bucket in great shape for $3500 (or $2500 needing minimal repair), and separately, a $500 mower. But, she really likes the 'all in one' convenience and that the mower deck goes on so easily.

wimmens.

I have a New Holland TC25 which is just 24 hp. Honestly, you can do a fuck ton of work with one - I could lift a Honda Goldwing 1200 about 6' up with that bucket to load into a shipping container. Boulder walls, over a hundred yards of gravel, etc. *Buy the 5 year extended warranty is my suggestion. And hydrostatic trans. Speaking of which, it only takes one person who doesn't get that ALL drivetrain action must stop before shifting to ruin that 60's Ford - your hydrostatic can take that shit all day and not even flinch. Your $3500 Ford will cost you up the ass if it needs parts.

? Does she have her own money for this idea? If it's her toy she will be more likely to use it. You can play house boy and fetch her cool drinks and make her lunch while she mows the lawn. ;)

The kid's Z is back in my driveway, as he managed to shear off his new master cylinder reservoir with bad universal vacuum lines to the brake and clutch boosters. He had actually pulled up to put new heater lines on, as he'd finally ordered the correctly formed lines to go from the heater core to the bypass hardlines, but I noticed that the master cylinder reservoir was just flopping around in the meantime.

How long he'd been running without any fluid in the brake master is anybody's guess, but holy shit, I don't know how he didn't feel it.
