Like, you can buy some scrap metal, a cheap manual hydraulic press from princess auto / harbor freight, a couple of metal chunks to go on each side of the dies... and you're forming shit like that for dirt cheap.

@Jehannum you could remake your fuel tank cover in metal pretty easily from the looks of it.

I hadn't considered using anything printed as a die, but I have made and used them as drill registers for parts I made of metal later, like the rings for the strut bar mount in my 240Z.

I was slightly sceptical of his pressing work but then saw he is limiting himself to light forming/"coining" of pieces. One of the more impressive at-home uses of 3-d printing for me. Wonder how many parts can be ran on one.
