Hawt NFL Deserves Its Own Thread - THIS ONE

The coach clearly had no faith in his starting QB. He only went back to Winston out of having no other option and most likely being forced. As a player why would you want a coach who doesn’t really have faith in you. It’s a text book thing you see all the time in the NFL with the teams marquee players and losing coaches.
Of course he had no faith! Did you even see how he played? It was clear to just about everyone that he wasn't ready to come back, hence all the loud proclamations in Tampa to bring Fitz back. Winston getting benched shocked no one, not even Jameis.

Not really. He was fine with it when Fitz was throwing him bombs. But he and Winston could never click. And now it's coming out how toxic he was.
The story even says that it was both the coach and him getting into it as well as Winston and him.

Yes but once you bench a QB you either have to move on or move on with the coach. Give me an example where a coach has ever benched a QB for performance not injury and they were able to get past it together.

I wonder if they are trying to drive the team into the ground in order to move them.
No they just don’t know what they are doing. Moving them has never been something I’ve ever heard rumors about. They have a very good fan base. Plus there really isn’t anywhere to move them. Florida always has issues filling seats for anything that’s not college football. The one team I could see moving is the Rays.

The Steelers are a total disaster. Tomlin has no control over that team, and the players have no respect for him.

Also, they lied about Browns injury. I'm sure nothing will happen because they're not the Patriots.
Brown has now officially asked for a trade. Slim to zero chance it will happen but he asked regardless.

WTF are you on about? They're adults and professionals, not six year olds...

Then you clearly don't understand the egos involved in professional sports. The reason I asked for an example is because there's never been one. Plus regardless if it's sports, work, anything you can't have a leader removed due to performance and put them back in and expect anyone to follow them anymore. At that point you've basically cut the legs out from anything they had built.

Uhhh, yeah you can. Winston did a pretty good job of that these last three games by actually performing well. You might even argue that getting benched was a really good thing for him.
