Well, it turns out the YouTube's and the Google's of the world along with their sinister globalist overlords have scrubbed the beaver smilie from existence so until a nextgen patriot of uncertain gender or a questionable white-haired knight from a foreign land with a really big library comes along this will have to do.

That fucker can be a little tricky once in a while though if you sing harmonies and stuff instead of just play bass. The parts that need the vocals are also the parts that need some rhythm and syncopation in the bass, then the parts that don't need that vocal work are also the parts that are dead simple on the bass.


The other option is to just forego all that business and just go full cocaine masterpiece like so.

When I saw Joe Walsh shortly after the James Gang days, he had two drummers spaced pretty far apart. When they got to the drum break in that song, they had a synced solo and tossed drumsticks back and forth without missing a beat.

I believe Rory Gallagher opened up for him.

Was long time after that when I got to see him. Band was a bunch of young guys and they were good, he still was too.

Did the gig wearing those blue or green hospital scrubs, like a surgeon.

There's this chick that keeps popping up on my Facebook feed under one of the bass guitar groups. She likes to post videos of herself playing bass in microbikinis or mini dresses and she does have a quite fetching body. However, her technique is less-than-stellar and she's not even passable as a bass player. So after seeing 30 or 40 of these videos I gently suggested she work on her right hand technique cuz she pulls her hand off of the strings about 5in after every note. At which point she pointed out what an asshole I am which is true sometimes but not in this case. No good deed goes unpunished. Keep being a hore and wearing those micro bikinis! And for God's sake don't work on your right hand technique.
