Ontopic Games Thread of love

Maybe MS will actually fund them so they don't have to set up a GoFundMe every time they want to do a game.
pillars, pillars 2, and tyranny all turned out awesome, pretty much on schedule, and bug-free/well polished.

Not having a publisher push you to meet some holiday schedule makes for better games.

First patch for FO76 came out. For consoles they changed ~85% of the game files.

The patch weighs in at a whopping 47.258GB and brings Fallout 76 up to version 1.02. Prior to the patch going live, Fallout 76 on PS4 took up 53.04GB. Post-patch, Fallout 76 takes up 53.23GB, so the update replaces much of the pre-existing file.

MMOs tend to suck on release. Elder Scrolls online was broadly terrible i recall, and now its considered pretty good.

Does this really count as an MMO?

No. Outside of voice chat, you can't communicate with anyone. Every heard of an MMO that didn't at least have text chat. For the people being the content, there is zero way for them to BE the content.

I got it when it dropped for $40 for a bit. It's not a fun game. It's like Fallout Mich Ultra.

I don't recommend.

The way to solve the issue is to not drink michelob Ultra like a fucking pansy.
