Picked this up just before the camp out. It's totally a Christmas morning, thick, soft, don't tuck it in, shirt. I wore it as a 3rd layer while we camped. t-shirt, long sleeve henley, and then this. A jacket easily went over it when we rode.

I'm 6', 180#, 32-33 waist, 35" sleeves, and a 42 or occasionally a 42L in a suit coat. I picked up a large. USUALLY I get shorted in the arm department but this fit flawlessly even after 1 wash/regular tumble dry. Like zero shrinkage. It fits a little big around the middle, and the sleeves went about 1/2" past my wrist. It's not a snug, tapered fit at all.

Picked up this too. Same review. Flawless. It's thicker, but also stiff. I wasn't sure if i'd like it that way, but a lot of reviews raved about it. They're right. It's nice as a 3rd layer too. NOT a soft xmas shirt! But great for cool/cold outdoor weather.
Let me know how those turn out after awhile. I bought a flannel shirt jac from them and after a wash the flannel would wrinkle and almost try to remove itself from the inner quilted liner. Curious if it’s them or just that design.

will do. I've had this one in Tobacco for a few yrs, but no need to wash it yet. It's got almost a cotton/waxy exterior that I didn't want to ruin. It's held up really well. it's a thinner flannel than their shirts that i've got. maybe that has something to do with it. :iono:

If I pull their flannels out of the dryer as soon as they're done, and get them on a hanger, they're not wrinkly. The collar doesn't look sharply pressed, but it seems to fit and look like I'd expect an un-ironed flannel to look.

i have a couple of these that can almost be classed as light jackets. The dickies one is the best. In general i find dickies stuff to be great quality (better than carharrt)

man, how do you get away with that. I know you work in your stuff as do i, and im washing my "light jackets" at least once a week cause they get mud, grease, etc on em.

If I know I'm getting actually dirty, I throw on an old carhart coat that I beat up regularly, but unless it's trashed it only gets washed about once a season. Outside of that I've got several 'barn' sweatshirts that used to be worthwhile shirts. My nemesis is horsehair. I have 3 lint rollers going at all times -home/car/barn- and there are times when I it's cold enough to need a coat and if I've got a decent coat on I debate: To keep the horsehair off the jacket. . . do I get the carhart out of the SUV, or lay it carefully off to the side and work hard enough on the horse generating enough heat to stay warm.
