What? When? Where?

I'd expect anything else in your driveway to be stolen before that thing...
Friday night, from outside the house.

It was the only thing in my driveway, aside from a 300ZX with no engine in it (which was in the rocks next to the driveway).

Everything of value stays in the garage.

The caddy is easy to steal, pop the ignition cover off and operate the C ring with a flathead screwdriver to engage the ignition
Stealing cars used to be easy.
Yeah, but I have like 3 other cars that would be as easy to steal, all of which are worth more is the point I think @gee was trying to get at.

The Datsun doesn't even lock on the passenger side.

Only in that they are both pussrod motors, I believe. Maybe a better relation would be the 5.9 Dodges to the current Hemis.
Cool. I don't actually know that much about domestic V8s. Pretty much the extent of it was that an LS would have almost directly bolted up to all the shit on my iron block SBC in the Cadillac.

Possible cause of the dash issue with the truck, although that's the tach side not the oil gauge. Doesn't seem to have any trace that goes anywhere, though?

So high school is back in session at the school next to work... and this happened. Kid in a 300ZX did a burnout in front of work, blew through a stop sign, did a 180 and curbed the thing.

Poor neglected car. With a shitty paint job and shitty rims and bald tires and a 17 year old driver... It deserves so much better :(
