I hope that bitch of a nurse who CAME TO WORK WITH DIAGNOSED INFLUENZA and wore a mask ONLY COVERING HER MOUTH, NOT NOSE(!) did not give me the fucking flu. I have no fever, but have a headache (I hardly ever get headaches) and my eyes hurt. Maybe I'll ask for a tamiflu Rx from one of the docs just in case. Ugh. Hopefully the wooooooo elderberry syrup will help me not get sick

That is exactly how mine started. I never get headaches either so I thought, hmmm this is weird. Eyes hurt too! You're probably contagious at this point. Quarantine yourself!

I'm not doing patient care today for that reason, just office stuff, schedules etc. I still have the fucking headache and eyes but no fever or other symptoms. My mom is taking the kids this weekend and I will quarantine myself and take echinacea, elderberry, vitamin C, zinc, and salty tears for good measure.

Let's discuss raw garlic as medicine. Every time I get a sore throat I chop a clove of garlic and chew it slowly. It works.

Yesterday I woke up feeling sick.
As I didn't have any vodka left from the night before, and I couldn't grab any, I got worse.
I should have kept a bottle in the medicine cabinet for sure.
