Yeah, I try to keep it simple with the homeless I run into. The regulars are easy but some of these new ones seem a litte desperate / aggressive. One guy followed one of our service reps into the building asking for money.
They don't know or don't care for the niceties or structures of structured society. That doesn't automatically make them "bad people". Hell, many has been the time I'd like to cast this bullshit society aside and be free of it, but it does make them homeless, at least in whatever this bullshit "society" as we've constructed it, is.
You're not born knowing that just because your building has a hot receptionist and a drinking fountain you're not supposed to check out her tits while you're getting free water. You have to buy into the structure before any of that makes sense.
So Sam's Club is closing a bunch of stores. I don't shop at Sam's, but the South Tampa one is closing. The list https://www.usatoday.com/story/mone...your-sams-club-closing-heres-list/1026816001/
Wow, well that's not surprising I guess. And there's no online Sam's (I assume). Macy's has closed some stores, too. Brick and mortar is hurting. All due to the minimum wage increase according to the financial sites I've read.

I remember a CompUSA and later a TigerDirect using an old Circuit City. Big ass plug and everything.I read Circuit City is coming back in a few months. Online with some kiosks.
Ya there was a Tiger Direct in the old Circuit City here for awhile, weird to see. Good prices, but not as good as online except the clearance.I remember a CompUSA and later a TigerDirect using an old Circuit City. Big ass plug and everything.
Starting wage. Minimum wage is what the government requires them to pay.* They increased the starting pay voluntarily ostensibly in order to compete with other big box stores that were paying a lot more.
And then they closed a bunch of stores fucking over thousands of their employees. This was on purpose. They got a tax cut, planned to close a bunch of stores, and then hiked their starting wage to make an excuse.
The jobs didn't go away, they were turned into dividends.
*that sounded more dickish than intended
CompUSA was my hangout when I lived in cities that didn't have a FrysI remember a CompUSA and later a TigerDirect using an old Circuit City. Big ass plug and everything.
you see meI assumed a long time ago that all of your posts were supposed to be read with the assumption of dickish
the one I went to was janky as fuck half the shelves were empty, bunch of people were building a computer in an aisle, probably only two or three employees in the place.Ya there was a Tiger Direct in the old Circuit City here for awhile, weird to see. So was this one, but with tons of employees milling about. Wires hanging over shelves, stuff just crammed on shelves, opened boxes, such a mess.the one I went to was janky as fuck half the shelves were empty, bunch of people were building a computer in an aisle, probably only two or three employees in the place.
I was shocked they hadn't been cleaned out
More like, "hey, we've successfully driven every store in your area out of business except for the three other Walmarts, now we're closing two of them. Thanks for shopping at Walmart"All due to the minimum wage increase according to the financial sites I've read.
