Advice Weapons are uglier than trumps a-hole

I don't know, they do what they're told without asking too many questions, right? Anyway the point I was trying to make was that they have bigger weapons than the ones sold to non military people, that in a modern day revolution you would need more than the guns they sell at stores. Coffee!

That's not the point. No. Matter how big the military's guns are, they won't use them to slaughter a huge population of their fellow countrymen.

The military would take control of the government and then start a process to sort things out. They would not unleash upon populace just because some evil president proclaimed the US citizenry to be the enemy.

Couldn't be more on point, it was an answer to aprils statement that in case the govt starts fucking around with the public they have an option to fight back because of the gun laws.
 
...and I'm assuming there are many many families with no ties to the army etc. whatsoever, what about them? Do they get fucked because there was nobody calling them going honey we're invading today, go to aunt Stacey's and I'll see you there in a year, love xyz.

Honey, we invaded Iraq, found no wmds but they've asked us to stay anyway and get all their oil..

They wouldn't be able to tell who is who. Attacking your own population in mass would be catastrophic for the government in many ways.

The people with arsenals in their basements waiting for that day to come are pretty well stocked up. They don't need to go to the store.


No, the people aren't going to conquer the military with their deer rifles but they don't have to. The guarantee of mass slaughter and millions of armed guerillas that could never really all be rooted out is deterrent enough.
