Thread How much do you spend a week/month on groceries?

Weird, we pay more for it.
When I buy boxes of crackers or chips or frozen meals it always drives the budget up and then my kids scarf them down in a day with no nutrition so I try to buy as little as possible and focus on from scratch cooking and lots of fruits and veggies for snacks.

I don't buy organic though, that would make it lots more.

Yaup, that's how we stay healthy is not buying snack food. Everything has to be prepared to consume for the most part.

We don't buy much organic, but grocery stores are more expensive than markets, plus I forgot to consider our entertainment food budget too. Ah heck, I have no idea what I'm doing. lololol

Everything is cheap except rice. Last time I was there, a working middle class grade of rice was selling for approximately half a man's daily pay for 3 full servings of rice. So basically $4 per kilo. Massive corruption and price fixing.
That's damn high.. There would be riots here

We know you don't. I buy from the grocery store but don't really entertain. We spend more around the holidays when we are.
