Geezus dude! lolMy wife works for a USA & Canadian Network doing marketing analysis ... so we have cable tv ... tv through the internet/Bell Fibe & some other satellite channel thing for her to watch shows.
Its all paid for by her company ... we estimate if we had to pay for all these services from these different company's we'd be paying $1200 or more a month.
We use one of these too. When they blackout Bucs games we will see it broadcasted in England and get English commercials. Kinda of neat.US Sports, british sports, south American soccer etc. All in one place. All you need is a computer...
Nerdy trick that works for a lot of sites that have ad's that cover the whole screen or get upset when you use an adblocker:firstrowsports.eu
Same here, we use XBMC (or whatever the fuck they call it now) all of its housed on the home server. And if you set it up like I have, I have my PC as my TV "tuner". Windows Media Center for Netflix / music, XBMC for all of my downloaded shows / movies, all hooked up to my 39" LG LED TV, all controlled by a Windows Media remote control. The only time I have to use the mouse is if I want to watch a sporting event. The audio is set up through a 7.1 surround sound video card and a $100 set of 5.1 surround sound Logitech speakers.
It sounds like a fucking theater in my apartment. And it's all relatively free.

Well ya, who would deny the freeness of that!

Yeeeesssssss! CouchPotato?sickbeard is my best friend ever.
I've had hit and miss luck with CouchPotato. Quite honestly, I'd much rather do those searches myself. It's not like I need to have a constant search for updated episodes or anything.Yeeeesssssss! CouchPotato?
CP works best when you add the NZBtoMedia python scripts. It automatically checks the automated downloads for fakes.I've had hit and miss luck with CouchPotato. Quite honestly, I'd much rather do those searches myself. It's not like I need to have a constant search for updated episodes or anything.
And SAB is set up to identify certain types of media and place them in corresponding folders which are then automatically loaded into the correct sections of XBMC. All flawless and seamlessly integrated.
Too much work honestly. I can just go in and find what I'm looking for just the same, and have a decent idea of what I'm doing. Scripts are WAY out of my league.CP works best when you add the NZBtoMedia python scripts. It automatically checks the automated downloads for fakes.
Fair enough.Too much work honestly. I can just go in and find what I'm looking for just the same, and have a decent idea of what I'm doing. Scripts are WAY out of my league.
Unlike us linux dickbags who can't load silverlight natively, you can just fire a browser, navigate to netflix, and avoid any need for a standalone app.I knew there was going to be at least one cock gobbler to come in here and say this.
