Food TV shows that you may not be watching but should be

Do you only watch movies that are based on true stories or recreations of historical events?

I do watch fictional movies. However movies seem to be easier to swallow as they are short and to the point. However I do prefer movies that are based on non fictional stories. Documentaries are what I prefer to watch.

What about sequels? Trilogies? The Bourne series? Remember how we were practically counting the days until the last one came out?
Now imagine a series (show) being that good, that you're just hanging for the next episode.

I think no one understands how to even answer that question simply because it's entertainment and pretty clear cut. Either you like it, or you don't.
You don't like it, great, (even though you've never once tried watching anything I suggested, being that I'm so picky myself), then maybe post/participate in a thread that does interest you.

I don't play computer games, so I wouldn't go into a thread about computer games & ask why people are interested in them. I get it. It's a hobby. A general interest. It does not interest me, and I get that. The end.
Ya, the only time I do this is when I want to troll or cause trouble.

The automobile thread makes me roll my eyes a ton. I used to be into cars a lot, then I realized its dumb to me.

Remember in the Bourne series how we absolutely loved that it wasn't full of fake moves and shit? One of my favourite series because of that. Chopper? You have to see that movie.

I could probably get behind a tv series that was factual based but not a doco.

Time to administer the Voight-Kamff test.
Tell me about your mother...

It was a smidgen better than Dexters final episode.

Ooh Carl was about to get raped, kid had it coming. :fly:

Other than that, it wasn't the most brutal scene.

Apparently you were blacked out if you think that's all that happened. Reload the ep, drunky.

Hmmm, never heard of it

It's about a genius serial killer who creates a cult of serial killers... Starring Kevin Bacon, James Purefoy, and a bunch of other people you will recognize.

If you havent' seen it, start with season 1 (now half through season 2). You will not be able to put it down. I've never seen a network show reach like this one does.

Ooo, you had me at serial killers

I guess I don't get that from fiction. It just seems like a waste of time.

Why do you play War Thunder? You aren't actually flying an airplane, so what's the point? It makes no sense to waste time pretending you're a pilot when you aren't, or watching simulated aerial battles take place.

Most of the things I like to do I can't afford with having a family on my salary.

That's your problem. You don't need to do things that are expensive. You're falling prey to the capitalistic, consumer society that you hate. Find cheap things. Its a huge world, be creative.

Here's an example. April, Wes, and I did quite a bit of work on Sunday (mostly them) making beer. But it was a ton of fun and cost next to nothing. We also run. It's fun and pretty much free. GO OUTSIDE

Wut? Rick rage mode was over the top and the most brutal scene to date in the show's history. The very ending might have been done better but it was a setup for where next season, at least the A half, is going.

That still doesn't change the fact that overall it was boring and the ending was shit.

Aren't you saucy all the sudden. You ask for a demotion and now you're the big man on campus?

He comes in here with a couple blanket statements about his disinterest in all fiction(sounding all elitist) and how he doesn't understand this most common and oldest form of entertainment/art... And yet it is the most critical part of one of his favorite "hobbies. "
But I'll shut up now cause otherwise this thread will just degrade into asinine jibberish as usual
